How to Fix Google SSL certificate problems when navigating between Google UK apps

You’d think that Google would be bothered to get their own UK SSL Server Certificate (as clicked to from the navigation link from my google mail account)

If you are using Firefox however you can add an exception that allows the certificate, which then will just transparently work. Firefox will show “or you can add an exception“, which you click. Firefox will further show the two options, select “Add Exception“. View or get the certificate to check who it is from. Click “Confirm Security Exception” to add the UM Root Certificate in the Firefox 3.0 trust certificate list to finish. Make sure obviously that you trust the site.
